Sclera Contact Lenses

Are you interested in picking up sclera contact lenses?  There are many different types of sclera contact lenses you can get that have unique colors and designs.  Perhaps it is nearing Halloween and you want to dress up as a zombie or a mummy, then again, it might be some other party where you need to dress up as something interesting which requires an eye color change.  This may not always be the case though as there are a select few group of people who enjoy changing the way they look without the need of a holiday or special occasion to justify it.

Regardless of why you want to get sclera contact lenses, they are quite different from regular contacts by far.  The sclera lens will cover not just the iris, but it will also cover the sclera, the entire white of the eye when you put it on.  The end result of wearing something like this is a more drastic change to your appearance visually. 

You can pick up some interesting looking lenses which will make you look from out of this world, for instance, you can get one lens that completely covers all white in your eye with blackness.  This combined with the fact that your pupil is black too will make your whole eye appear black and without a pupil.  You can truly look out of this world with something like this, almost like an alien if only your eyes were a bit bigger.

Another crazy look you can go for is a completely reptilian look.  You can get a sclera lens which covers your whole eye turning your eye whites yellow and your pupil into a vertical black slit.  Doing this you can achieve a completely reptilian look that you just can’t get with normal contacts, this will take your costume design to a whole other level.

Finally, because the sclera covers the entire eye, you can even get some lenses which will make your iris and pupil out to be bigger than they actually are. 

The amount of looks you can achieve with sclera contact lenses is truly exceptional, but this does come at a cost as these types of lenses will usually cost you around $300.  The good news though is that these can last up to a year if you take good care of them, so that can work out to a dollar a day if you want to think of it that way.
